USES.
This jacket is incredibly stylish and glamorous. Its design is very slimming even in the larger sizes and really delivers the wow factor. Can be worn with just a T-shirt underneath and is superb for general yard use and riding out. Certainly not just a riding jacket its waterproof, windproof and breathable qualities and great looks make it suitable for all outdoor pursuits especially snow sports. Teque-Style soft shell jackets have a hydrophilic surface and compressed seams which provide superb waterproofing compared to other jackets. However in very extreme wet,some moisture may wick at some seams. Seam taping is required to provide a total guarantee of no moisture ingress. There are negatives to applying tape and we deliberately choose not to seam tape.
Seam tape reduces jacket flexibility. The fantastic 4-way stretch of our soft shell is a main advantage over convential fabrics.
Seam tape detracts from the comfort provided by the soft thermo-fleece inner layer.
Seam taping is highly unattractive
